Steps to Establish a Partnership

WE OFFER 24X7 SUPPORT​

Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI):
  • Submit an EOI physically or through e-mail, outlining the institution’s needs and areas of interest for collaboration.
  • The EOI helps us understand institutes requirements and to tailor our services accordingly.
Review and Preliminary Assessment:
  • Our team will review Institute’s EOI to ensure alignment with our training objectives and organizational goals.
  • Upon successful review, we will proceed with the next steps to formalize the partnership.
Physical Inspection by SDC Karachi Team:
  • Before issuing a partnership enlistment letter, a team from SDC Karachi will conduct a physical visit to institute.
  • This visit allows us to assess infrastructure, training environment, and overall readiness for partnership.
  • The inspection ensures that institute is well-equipped to deliver high-quality training programs under the SDC Karachi framework.
Issuance of Partnership Letter:
  • Upon a successful inspection, a partnership letter will be issued, officially listing institute as a partner of SDC Karachi.
  • This letter formalizes the partnership and enables institute to offer SDC Karachi’s accredited training programs which are mentioned in the given letter.
Partnership Fee:
  • Institute will pay a bank draft of Rs.20,000/- in the name of Skill Development Council Karachi which will be renewed on completion of every year.

Post-Partnership Compliance and Reporting

Submission of First Trainees Information Report (FTIR):
  • Within 15 days of the commencement of every training programs, Institutes are required to submit the First Trainees Report (FTIR) to SDC Karachi.
  • The FTIR provides an overview of the enrolled trainees and the initial progress of the program.
Regular Monthly Attendance Reports:
  • Following the FTIR submission, institute must submit monthly attendance reports to SDC Karachi.
  • These reports help in monitoring the consistency and engagement of trainees in the program, ensuring the training is delivered effectively.

SDC Karachi Services and Fee Structure

Comprehensive Service Offerings

Course Development:

  • SDC Karachi develops Competency Based Training (CBT) courses / program based on current market needs, ensuring that the content is relevant and beneficial to the trainees and the industry.
  • This involves thorough research and analysis to identify the skills that are in demand, tailoring the curriculum to meet these needs.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Once the courses are developed and implemented, SDC Karachi conducts regular monitoring and evaluation.
  • This process ensures that the training is being delivered effectively and that the outcomes are aligned with the set objectives.

Certification:

  • Upon the successful completion of the course, SDC Karachi awards participation level certificates to the trainees.
  • These certificates validate the skills acquired and provide added value to the trainees’ professional profiles.
Fee Charges

Per Trainee Per Course Fee:

  • SDC Karachi charges a fee of 10-20% of the course fee per trainee for the services mentioned above.
  • This percentage covers the development of the course, ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and the issuance of certificates.

Minimum Charge specific for the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs):

  • Regardless of the course fee structure, the minimum charge per trainee per course is Rs. 1,000/-
  • This ensures that the basic costs of providing high-quality training and certification are covered, even for courses with lower fee structures.

Course Assessment and Certification Process

Assessment of Short Courses up to 72 Hours:
  • For courses with a duration of up to 72 hours, the assessment will be conducted the partnering institute.
  • Institutes must notify SDC Karachi through a letter or email to schedule the assessment.
  • However, an SDC Karachi representative will be present to witness the assessment meets our standards.
Examination Process for Courses Above 72 Hours:
  • Courses exceeding 72 hours will undergo a formal examination process.
  • This rigorous examination ensures that trainees have fully grasped the course content and are equipped with the necessary skills.

Certification and Value-Added Benefits

Participation Level Certification:
  • Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will receive a participation level certificate from SDC Karachi.
  • These certificates validate the skills acquired but are not equivalent to formal educational qualifications.
  • The certifications are recognized as value-added credentials that can enhance employability and professional growth.
Contribution to Socio-Economic Uplift:
  • SDC Karachi’s training programs are designed to uplift individuals by enhancing their skill sets, thereby improving their socio-economic status.

Ongoing Partnership and Annual Renewal

Continuous Support:
  • SDC Karachi remains committed to supporting institute throughout the partnership, ensuring that training programs and assessments are conducted smoothly.
Annual Renewal Process:
  • The partnership is subject to an annual renewal process, during which the performance and alignment of both parties are evaluated.
  • This renewal ensures that the partnership remains relevant and beneficial, adapting to any changes in industry demands or training requirements.

The Council has developed and implemented a wide range of Technical, Vocational, and IT training programs, catering to diverse industry needs. SDC Karachi has initiated Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), Oracle, Hardware Networking, Fashion Design, Beauty Therapy, Cooking, Mobile Phone Repairing, Certificate in Information Technology, Management Trainings like Supply Chain Management with Six Sigma, Import Export with Shipping, Health and Safety, AutoCAD, REVIT and other Civil Mechanical trainings, etc. SDC KARACHI has trained more than 100 thousand trainees in different trades who are working in local and international markets.

SDC Karachi has awarded thousands of industry-recognized certificates, boosting the employability of its graduates.
